So thankful to finally be getting a vacation, & it's been a magical experience here in Italy ???? While here, my mind keeps going back to World Pride. Queer people— specifically the transgender community— have been targeted so severely these past few months / years, & it's just very disheartening. Despite these devastating injustices, we cannot lose faith in the power of love. It's important to remind ourselves that we aren't just fighting AGAINST oppression & cruelty, but rather FOR equality & love. We must continue spreading messages of knowledge & awareness. We are all intelligent beings sharing this human experience together, & our goal is to create a world of greater empathy where people learn to embrace differences rather than tear down those who do not abide by a specific way of living. No two human beings are alike— we are all so uniquely distinct in who we are & how we identify. My greatest wish is that we can learn to accept our diversity instead of trying to conform to be one & the same. Transgender & queer people aren't trying to hurt anyone, we simply wish to be our authentic selves & love whoever we choose to. I believe in the goodness of humanity. I believe we can create a world of freedom & love. I know we will get there. If you are trans or queer, continue using your power & gifts to teach people that we are all beautiful— ya'll know we are special ?? Create art, make music, write / speak your truth, & radiate love from your hearts. We must show the world that we are human beings too❤️ ?????
