The second edition of Íris, International Animation Exhibition of Sexual Diversity, will take a festival of micro, short, medium and feature-length animation films, Brazilian and foreign, to the cinemas of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo
In 2009, fans of animated cinema were able to watch 21 films from different countries such as South Africa, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Denmark, Turkey and Brazil. The animations selected for the exhibition talk about various topics related to sexual diversity and campaigns to combat homophobia. These are films with prejudice-free content that treat sexual diversity with respect and education. The best animations in the show will receive the Iris trophy. Íris is aimed at all fans of animated cinema.
