On Saturday, 27/8, more than 70 thousand people were present at the 4th - Juiz de Fora GLBT citizenship and pride parade, one of the Rainbow Fest commemorative events. The gathering began around noon in front of Halfeld Park. With political speeches asking congress to approve the law that homophobia be considered a crime. This topic has been addressed by parades across the country. The march continued without any major problems. Only two groups of funk players insisted on fighting each other. At that moment, peace was also remembered by the leaders of the Brazilian gay movement, headed by the president of MGM, Oswaldo Braga. After the parade, which ended around 20pm, the public still went to Praça Antônio Carlos, where there was music from DJs, dance performances, drag artists and go-go-boys. The same party took place throughout the week in the square.
