Famous gay maid performs in São Paulo, from September 2nd at Theater Italy.
After making people laugh on the internet, with 1 and a half million hits, a character who is also on Multishow, arrives in São Paulo to tell his story before fame.
“Rose, the maid from Brazil”, arrives in São Paulo for a season at Teatro Itália in September 2016. The show premiered in 2013, in Belo Horizonte, where it ran for several successful seasons.
Rose is a hard-working woman who became famous for becoming the domestic of gays after she posted her video on the internet singing "Grelo", a parody of "Halo", by the renowned pop singer Beyonce.
Rose won a theater version, where she recalls her entire story before she became famous. His hard childhood life, his children and his disappointments in love are told amidst lots of live music, the character's trademark, as well as a fun dream with his idol Amado Batista.
