"You will find the world, my father told me, at the door of the Athenaeum. Courage for the fight." Thus begins O Ateneu, by Raul Pompéia, a classic of national literature. Let's replace "my father" with "hot hostess" and "Ateneu" with "Louca" and we also have the beginning of another literary work: A Louca, by the young writer Del Candeias, freely inspired by Lôca. Nightclub located on Rua Frei Caneca, in SP, which celebrates its 12th anniversary today.
“I have since experienced the truth of this warning”, both writers continue in their works. But apparently Del wasn't the only one to find the world inside the club. The house attracts an average of 800 to 1000 night owls, from Thursday to Sunday, when it opens its doors.
Considered one of the main breeding grounds for characters, styles and DJs from the GLS scene and the underground as a whole, the house is famous for bringing together people from different tribes. And today's party promises to be no different. DJs from the various projects and nights that the house hosts will liven up the night. André "Pomba", Nenê, Luca Lauri, Julião, França, Ronald, Ednei & Alemão. There will even be a “Mad Queen” (mad queen, character from Alice in Wonderland and logo of the house) embodied by Kaka di Polly.
The party must be really lively. Under the theme “A night in the ICU” there will be an ambulance at the door of the house. The house staff will be dressed as nurses and the staff as nurses. Hospital stretchers will be part of the decoration. There will also be IV stands, where wines will be hung in bags simulating blood. And best of all, “you can even drink it”, according to Nenê, party promoter, exclusively on the website The Cape. Dj André Pomba said he will also be in costume. “As a doctor”, he reveals.
