The ignorance of certain parliamentarians seems to have no limits. During the Pedophilia CPI, Senator Magno Malta (PR-ES) once again declared absurdities regarding sexuality linked to victims of sexual abuse in childhood.
In an interview with the SRZD website, the senator declared that pedophilia is certainly "the reason for someone to become a transvestite".
"When we meet a young transvestite, he is certainly a victim of pedophilia. The abused child can become an abuser and a generation of pedophiles begins. Pedophilia is not exactly homosexuality (sic), but it leads to the same practice", declared Malta .
According to SRZD, the senator also said that sexual abuse in childhood creates a generation of homosexuals and lesbian couples.
"Pedophilia truly causes the disintegration of society, creating a generation of homosexuals, transsexuals, lesbian couples, gays and thousands of transvestites, generating a large universe of prostitution and misconduct," he declared.
It is with this thought that the senator intends to run for the government of the state of Espírito Santo in 2014, or, worse, for the presidency of the Republic.
"My candidacy is no joke, it is real. There are 15 months left until the elections, so I am not going to open my position now so as not to disturb the progress of the plans, but next year I will be a candidate, either for the presidency of the Republic or for the government of Espírito Santo, said Magno Malta.
