Petition wants to remove Claudia Leitte from the position of godmother of the Salvador Gay Parade

The controversy surrounding Claudia Leitte and the Salvador Gay Parade continues. First it was announced that the Grupo Gay da Bahia, which organizes the event, had invited the singer to be godmother of the 2012 edition of the Parade in the capital of Bahia.

Then, during the Salvador Carnival press conference, the Claudia herself said she received the invitation, but does not guarantee her participation, as she doesn't know what her postpartum period will be like, as she is expecting her second child.

Now, the Petição Público website is organizing a petition asking GGB to reconsider and withdraw the invitation made to the singer.

"Claudia Leitte and her husband declared that they would NOT like their son to be gay, but to be MALE (sic), and although the singer sought to recant on her blog, the retraction only reaffirmed her position on the LGBT issue, which makes us certain that the singer has no involvement with the LGBT cause", says the text of the Public Petition.
