“I think we are a supercouple”, says Lorenzo Martone, boyfriend of Marc Jacobs

"Marc and I have always had so much fun and we're so happy that that's what counts: being with someone you like. There's a concept in the United States called the supercouple. I think we fit into that category." It was with these words that the São Paulo publicist, Lorenzo Martone, defined his relationship with the designer Marc Jacobs, in a report published in Serafina magazine, in the Anagrama section, signed by Ana Ribeiro.

In time, the term "supercouple" – which means "supercouple" – defines famous couples, in fiction or in reality, who attract a lot of attention. The concept comes in handy, as the couple's arrival in Brazil in recent weeks has caused an uproar in São Paulo's high society. Another factor that sparks interest in lovebirds is their homosexuality, which in itself often serves as a spotlight.

Speaking of homosexuality, Martone, 29 years old, graduated from Anhembi Morumbi, says that he has always been very open about his sexual orientation. "I never had to hide anything from my mother, who is a very good friend of mine," he said. The Brazilian introduced his boyfriend to his mother at lunch at the Fasano hotel. "The meeting was great, calm, without drama. They understood each other very well", he said.

According to Martone, the couple met a year before dating. "It's not like I suddenly got Marc Jacobs out of my league. I'm an advertiser, I work in the management of luxury brands and I was living in Paris. Marc lives between New York and Paris and we went to the same gym, Lusine. We became friends, we started going out for dinner and then we became lovers", he said.

The couple, who moved in together a month ago, are still in Brazil and, last Saturday (28/03), they were caught exchanging a peck in Ipanema. Press notes speculate that in addition to putting things together, Jacobs and Martone intend to adopt a Brazilian child.
