Welcoming LGBT people, CasaNem will help elderly people in quarantine

Even with activities suspended, the LGBT shelter CasaNemCasaViva, from Rio, is willing to practice empathy amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement on Instagram, the entity announced that it is available to help elderly people in the region (Center, South Zone and Lapa) with any needs to purchase groceries and medicine.

The House's priority continues to be lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, opening its doors to members of this population with symptoms of COVID-19. However, she has announced interest in helping several other groups, as you can see below.
