Lawyer denies that Macarrão is homosexual and in love with former goalkeeper Bruno

In addition to the disappearance of Eliza Samudio, the case of Bruno, a former Flamengo athlete, also generates another controversy: the love of Luiz Henrique Ferreira Romão, better known as Macarrão, for the goalkeeper.

Bruno's right-hand man, Macarrão had already raised suspicions when he showed a tattoo made for the player, with the words: "Bruno and Maka. Friendship not even the force of time will destroy, true love". The phrase is an excerpt from the song “Amizade”, by the group Fundo de Quintal.

After that, the case took several twists and turns. The most recent was the statement by Bruno's lawyer, Rui Pimenta, saying that Macarrão may have killed Eliza out of a passion for the goalkeeper.

“It is not usual for a friend to engrave on his back a recording of love for another man, the guy engraves women's names. But putting proof of love in one’s own flesh, there has to be a greater feeling [than friendship],” Pimenta told R7.

However, this week, Macarrão's lawyer, Wasley Cesar de Vasconcellos, denied that his client is gay. “In the life of Luiz Henrique (Macarrão), there is nothing that leads us to believe that he is homosexual and, yes, that he had a very great loyalty [to Bruno].

Even so, the goalkeeper's lawyer still hopes that Macarrão declares his love for Bruno and thus frees the former Flamengo athlete from jail, where he has been held for more than a year and a half.

Pasta and Bruno. Next to it, the tattoo!
