The most closing reality show in the world has been officially renewed and will get a new season next year!

The news of the renewal of RuPaul's Drag Race was given this Wednesday (20) by Entertainment Weekly, which also released an official statement from Mama Ru about the renewal of reality show on the North American channel Logo.
“Season nine of 'RuPaul's Drag Race' is going to be bigger, better and with more twists than ever! Thank you, Logo, for continuing to provide a powerful platform for these brave, beautiful and creative souls to tell their stories.”
The renewal, of course, is no surprise, as the series had its highest audience in its eighth year so far. Furthermore, now in 2016, for the first time, RuPaul and his reality show received nominations at the awards Emmy Awards.
For those who don't know, RuPaul herself competes in the Best Reality Show Host category, while the reality star competes for Best Costume Design in a Variety or Reality Program.
Before the ninth season arrives next year, some of the most notable Drags from past seasons will reunite to compete again in the special edition of the reality show, “All Stars 2”, which starts airing in August.
