Attacker on Avenida Paulista allegedly participated in another attack on gays in SP

According to information from the Mônica Bergamo column, in today's "Folha de S. Paulo" newspaper, the 16-year-old teenager who participated in the attack with fluorescent lamps on November 14, on Avenida Paulista, also allegedly attacked the student Gilberto Andrade , 18, outside the Vegas club, on Rua Augusta, in March last year.

The attacker is hospitalized at Fundação Casa. In the other case, in November, the teenager was with four other friends (one of them an adult, Jonathan Lauton Domingues, 19, who is on the run). The victim, the journalism student Luis Alberto Betonio, he had injuries to his face and was saved by a security guard from a building in the region.

This Monday (3), lawyers for the teenage attacker, who is supposed to be the grandson of a famous Italian mobster, filed a habeas corpus petition with the 4th Children and Youth Court.

The other three young people who participated in the attack have been free since December 23rd. The Public Defender's Office of São Paulo is prosecuting the attackers, who may have to pay a fine of up to R$164 each.
