Aguinaldo Silva opens up about being a victim of homophobia by other gays

Famous for his dramaturgies and his acidic comments on social media, author Aguinaldo Silva used his Twitter profile to vent about the homophobia suffered by other gays.

“I discovered a terrible thing: of the people who antagonize me and openly say they don't like me, the majority are gay. It's hard to understand that I'm one of them, since I'm one of them; Are there homophobic gays?? I think so,” he tweeted.

Some internet users showed solidarity with Aguinaldo and highlighted the presence of “homophobic gays” within the LGBT community. “I have a cousin who is gay and he told me that the vast majority of people who harass him are gay,” wrote one internet user.

Others associated the hatred towards the author with his political position, according to internet users, on the right. “Those who insult you are left-wing, you are not,” said another follower.
