Aguinaldo Silva says that gays in Brazil want to be treated like “poor things”

The author of the soap opera "Fina Estampa", Aguinaldo Silva, never stops needling the gay community. This time, the playwright declared that he doesn't know which is worse: homophobia or gay victimization.

"The fact is that gays in Brazil have gone on a wave of please, love us, we are poor things! This is detestable: be serious!", wrote the author on his page on Twitter.

Aguinaldo Silva also commented on the activists' opinion regarding the character Crô (Marcelo Serrado). "There are gay activists saying that Crô does a disservice to the" cause "by being handsome! Help Santa Madame Satã! Ah, he's serious, faggot!", he shouted.

Finally, the author said that he stopped being an activist precisely because he did not consider that everyone is equal. "I stopped being an activist because, when I look at a person, gay or the devil in four, what I see is just that: a person. Each person is a person. There is no such thing as equating people by race, sex, religion or preference. I am me, you are you, we are unique", he concluded.
