Aguinaldo Silva reveals that he suffered sexual abuse at the age of 13

On his blog, writer Aguinaldo Silva reported that he suffered public humiliation after winning the Queen of Spring contest in 1957. However, his name was not announced as the winner, but rather that of second place, which was a girl. In the post, the author says that they gave him the award because he was "ugly, poor and effeminate". 

After being exposed to public humiliation, Aguinaldo says he went to isolate himself in the bathroom, where other colleagues followed him and physically attacked him.

Still humiliated, the author says that a man approached him in a square and took him to a hotel room, where he was subjected to sexual violence. At the time, Aguinaldo Silva says he did not report what happened out of shame. To check out the post in full click here
