England will launch a 50-pound note with the face of the father of computing, Alan Turing, who became known for the wonderful work he performed during the Second World War.
“It is a tribute to the work he carried out during the Second World War, when he managed to discover the logic of the enemies' encryption and gave vital help to the Allies, who defeated the Axis countries”, revealed the Bank of England.
Alan is known as the father of computing and artificial intelligence, the mathematician was responsible for deciphering Nazi codes during the Second World War. Even with the great help, Alan was heavily persecuted for being gay, and was even condemned to be chemically castrated.
