Alia Shawkat, from Arrested Development, comes out as bisexual

This week was liberating for many LGBTs, after the actor Keynan Lonsdale, from the series The Flash, and the American tennis player  Brian Vahaly, it was the actress's turn Alia Shawkat, known for her role in the series Arrested Development, and for bringing the character Dory to life in the sitcom Search Party, from the cable channel TBS, comes out of the closet.

In an interview with Out magazine, she said: "I was a masculine girl and I remember my mother asking me when I was 10 years old: 'Are you attracted to boys or girls?'. I said I didn't know." And he continues: "Today I consider myself bisexual and I think that balancing my masculine and feminine energies has made me grow as an actress."

Furthermore, the artist said that she intends to use her voice, as a celebrity, to defend her "Arab-American" and "LGBT" community.
