“I was born different.”
With these words, the renowned Polish actor and journalist Witold Sadowy He came out of the closet at the age of one hundred on January 7th, his birthday.
In interview with local press, which has celebrated Sadowy's life and career, he said that although he is proud to be an “honest man”, he wishes he had lived his sexuality freely sooner. “I didn't get married and I didn't have kids, which I really regret,” he said.
“But I was born different. I am gay. Now I said everything, like a confession.”
