After 23 years on the air, the soap opera Malhação will have its first gay protagonist. The soap opera that takes care of young people, will tell the story of Guga, and is scheduled to premiere on the 16th.

Guga will be a young man from the south of Rio de Janeiro with a very good life. After breaking up with Meg, he begins to question his sexuality and discovers that he doesn't like girls. So he looks for help on the internet, until he finds Serginho, who is a boy who is more than comfortable with his sexuality.

Since 2017, the soap opera has told the story of LGBT characters, but this will be the first time that the protagonist is gay.
