In a closed ceremony, for intimates only, actress Lily Tomlinm, 74, married writer and screenwriter Jane Wagner, 78. The two had been together for 42 years and made their union official in Los Angeles.
Jane and Lily first worked together in March 1971, when they began their romance.
"Nobody really needs to get married, but marriage is really good... All the married people I know have told me that it really makes a difference. They feel very, very happy about it," Lily declared months before making the union official.
