Known worldwide as “pregnant man”, Thomas Beatie, 38, declared this week that he is separated from his wife, Nancy.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, Beatie said that his relationship with Nancy was on the rocks. "Like all marriages, we have our ups and downs, and we are going through a rough patch right now. We are currently separated," he said.
When he began hormone treatment, Thomas Beatie preferred to keep his female sexual organs since his wife could no longer have children.
It was then that, in 2007, through artificial insemination, Thomas gave birth to his first daughter, Susan. Then came Jesen and Austin Beatie.
