Lea Michele, star of Glee (Fox), took a position regarding the accusations of racism e bullying  – precisely the type of behavior that the series portrayed as toxic and degrading – that he received from colleagues in recent days.

“One of the most important lessons of the last few weeks is that we all need to take time to listen and understand other people's perspectives, and realize the role we played in helping to address the injustices they faced,” wrote the actress and 33-year-old singer on Instagram.

“When I tweeted the other day, it was meant to be supportive of our friends, neighbors, and non-Caucasian communities during this difficult time, but the responses I got also made me focus specifically on my own behavior with castmates, and how he was noticed by them.”

Following the accusations, German meal kit brand HelloFresh decided to end its partnership with Michele.
