After Rio 2016, Arthur Nory talks about making out in the Olympic Village and bisexuality

Gymnast Arthur Nory became a celebrity after the Rio 2016 Olympics.
He, who won a bronze medal, was chosen by internet users as “muse of the Olympic games”, and spoke about this title in an interview with EGO. “I was happy with the title, but I don’t train to be a muse,” he said.
“I train to be an Olympic medalist. This came kind of separately, to give it a relaxed feel. I feel shy, ashamed, but I’m grateful”, he commented, backstage at a photoshoot. In the same interview, he spoke about the “makeouts” that would take place in the Olympic Village.
There, condoms were distributed to athletes with raging hormones, but he says he never used them. “There must be sex… We are athletes, but, above all, we are human beings. But not with me. I left empty, upset”, joked Arthur.
And regarding his sexuality, he did not shy away from the question regarding his supposed bisexuality, a rumor that emerged during this period. “I don’t care what people say. I think about myself, I think about the people around me, who know me, who love me”, he commented.
“You can’t be influenced by the outside, you have to surround yourself with people who like you and want the best for you. Like it or not, you see people commenting and you feel a little, but I learned to sift, filter, leave it aside. And you can talk, it won’t affect me,” she said.
“I know my essence, who I am. And those who are close to me know. That’s what matters”, she says.
