Learning with children

Another example of those cute videos that tend to be popular on social media is circulating on the internet.

This time, the protagonist is the little boy Calen, who naturally observes the information that two men can also get married. "I've always seen wives and husbands, but this is the first time I've seen a husband and a husband," says the little one. "That's funny," he points out, adding: "That means you love each other!"

We have a lot to learn from children. Calen's first reference is probably to the heterosexual family. Nothing more obvious, considering that he is the son of a man and a woman. But how then can we explain this very natural reaction of his when he finds out that two men can be together as man and husband?

Definitely becoming an adult makes you dumb. Society corrupts naive minds and expects from them a position for life. This same positioning aims to segregate what would not need to be differentiated: a person's sexual orientation.

We adults have a huge responsibility with little ones. We do influence children, we become their references. Therefore, the best way is still a frank and unpretentious conversation. In his book "Meus Dois Pais", novelist Walcyr Carrasco comments in the epilogue: "The world is changing, how good! But there are still those who don't accept this way of living. In television soap operas, I treat the topic with affection. It's I need to talk about the subject to understand that someone can be different without being wrong. And that love means respecting each person's way of being!" That simple.
