Beto Simas, father of actor Rodrigo Simas, who became the target of rumors related to sexuality when he was caught in a heated fight with a friend in Baixo Gávea, Rio de Janeiro, declared that his son is very well resolved with his sexual orientation.
In an interview with the Retratos da Vida column, from the newspaper Extra, Beto got angry with the gay community by saying that homosexuality is a negative characteristic.
“People only see the negative side of things. But my son is very confident about his sexual orientation and that has never been a question,” declared Beto Simas, who is a capoeira teacher.
“Those who are in this [celebrity life] suffer more from this type of judgment. But the important thing is not to be affected”, concluded the actor’s father.
