According to information from the Saint Petersburg police, a Russian LGBT activist was stabbed to death last Tuesday (23).
Yelena Grigorieva was found on Sunday a few meters from her home with several injuries caused by a sharp weapon, and for this reason a murder investigation was opened, and according to some local newspapers, the main suspect is a 40-year-old man.
People close to the activist claimed that she had been receiving several threats, but the police turned a blind eye and did not respond to the activist's calls.
