A trans activist named Jazz Jennings held a party to say goodbye to her penis. The event took place in June last year, right on the eve of her gender reassignment surgery.

The 18-year-old, who has identified as female since she was two years old, had the help of her mother, Jeanette, to organize the party, which included a penis-shaped cake. There were 20 people at the party and there was a video published on social media and in the series made by Jazz.

“For 17 and a half years I lived with this part of my body that I didn’t want. And although I loved my penis for what it is, I'm happy to say goodbye. So let's cut it!”, Jazz declared in the video.
