“Desperate Housewives” actor comes out as gay and reveals he is a single father of twins

North-American actor Tuc Watkins, in an interview for Marie Osmond's program that aired this past Monday (29), revealed that he is gay.

This is the first time he has spoken publicly about his sexual orientation. In 2007, Watkins played Bob Hunter, one of the residents of Wisteria Lane, in the series “Desperate Housewives”.

In the series, alongside actor Kevin Rahm, Watkins played a gay couple who wanted to adopt a child.

In the best sense, life imitates art, along with his coming out of the closet, the actor also said that he is the father of twins, who were fathered by a surrogate mother.

Twins Catchen and Curtis are 4 months old and the actor is raising the children alone.

“A lot of people think 'do I want to be a father?', 'will I ever be a father?'. I knew from a young age that I was gay and that one day I would be a father,” said Watkins.
