The next chapters of the soap opera Babilônia, on TV Globo, will feature Carlos Alberto's "coming out of the closet" (Marcos Pasquim). And the way chosen is unusual to say the least: after a drunken affair, with the call girl he took to bed.

In the chapter, the coach will have sex with Helô (Carla Salle), after participating in an Evandro party (Cassio Gabus Mendes) and being pressured to stay with one of the call girls and try to establish a reputation as a heterosexual.
Days later, Helô asks them to go back to bed, but notices that the coach is looking at the men with desire. She stays quiet, but realizes that Carlos isn't that interested in her.
The revelation occurs shortly after, when Helô finds Carlos Alberto drunk in a bar and takes him home. Under the influence of alcohol he admits that he is gay and that he is attracted to Ivan (Marcello Melo Jr).
"I was always curious, attracted, but I couldn't! I was an athlete, everyone trained together, traveled... So that no one would suspect, I pretended, I disguised myself. I was an Olympic champion, famous, imagine if everyone knew? It would be a scandal", he begins to speak.

He says he was relieved when he found a woman he liked, referring to his ex. "Then I got married straight away, had a son... The world was different back then. Now, not that it's easy, but people are more accepting."
When talking about Ivan... "Every time I saw him, I was impressed, but I don't know... Maybe I just admire the boy's courage in coming out like that." And he says he never stayed with another man, despite the desire.
It is Helô who tries to encourage him to try it. "You're separated, you don't owe anyone anything, your son is an adult… Isn't it time for you to do what you want? At least try it?" He thanks the call girl for helping him through this process. "Thank you, nothing. It's three hundred reais for the consultation", she will say, laughing.
