Rocker party in Vila Madalena… and GLS

The lack of options for gays who enjoy rock music in Sampa borders on despair. You can even take a risk and go to a straight place, but that could end up being a very unpleasant experience. Dynamite Pub appeared in 2003, in the heart of Vila Madalena, and manages to bring together – believe me – gays and rockers very well. Many Lôca regulars share the space, that is, young gay rockers, or not so young, and modern people, with an indie-emo-core look. It's true that other tribes also go: Mauritians and Patricians, cool and lost heteros in general. The place is intimate and has a small bar on the ground floor, with tables around it. The highlights are the Coconut Batida (you might even inadvertently bite into a sliver of the fruit), the Creamy Catuaba and the Mojito. All well prepared by the pub's bartender. The sound of the dance floor is a mix of rock, from the 60s to the bands that just broke out, with electronic music. On Saturdays, there is also a matinee for beginner bands, who compete to record a demo. Upcoming parties: 29/09 (Friday 23pm) – ELECTRONIKA IN ROCK New project debut.
