Judge Odonor Sanguiné, from the 6th Civil Chamber of the Court of Justice of Rio Grande do Sul, ordered Clube Sete de Setembro de Santiago and its director to pay R$4 for moral damages to a woman who was discriminated against inside the house.
The scene unfolded when the woman was with her partner at the club and exchanging kisses. They were interrupted by one of the security guards who asked them not to kiss. In his statement, the security guard claimed that they were exchanging a "cinema kiss", "long" and "involving tongue".
In his understanding, judge Odno Sanguiná, said that "a long kiss with tongue, even if exchanged by a homosexual couple, cannot be seen as unacceptable conduct".
