A 43-year-old transgender woman was burned alive in Jakarta, Indonesia, by a group of people last Sunday (5). The information is from NBC News.
According to the local press, the victim was accused of robbery and chased by a “large group”. No possessions were found with the woman – then they covered her with gasoline and set her on fire.
On the 8th, the Jakarta police already arrested three suspects and identified three more, but according to the institution, no one will be charged with murder, as they reported that setting the victim on fire was not an intentional act.
