The singer and actress Barbra Streisand, 78, donated shares in Disney to Gianna “Gigi” Pink Floyd, 6, daughter of George Floyd – the black man murdered by a police officer on May 25 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, an event that was the trigger for a series of demonstrations against the racism in several countries.

Known for her progressive political positions, Streisand did not even announce the donation. The person who announced it was Gigi herself, in a recent post on Instagram. “I am now a Disney shareholder,” the girl wrote in gratitude.

According to TMZ, the shares are each worth approximately US$115 (somewhere around R$580 at the current price). It is unknown how many shares Gigi won from Streisand.

In addition to her shares in Disney, Gigi has received more than two million dollars in donations for her future.
