Barraco: Lana Del Rey calls Lady GaGa “terrible” in new song; listen

Lana Del Rey decides to take a good dig at her colleague Lady GaGa through the song “So Legit”, which should appear on her next album.

For those who don't know, Lana and GaGa started their careers at the same time and with the same manager. But, GaGa's career took off earlier and Lana needed to move to London and do a basic makeover to gain the spotlight.

This week, some songs that should be part of Lana's new album were leaked onto the internet. In “So Legit,” which is believed to have been written in 2009, Lana trashes Lady GaGa.

“You look like a man, you talk like a baby,” says the beginning of the lyrics, which continues with lines like “Stefani, you’re terrible. I know you're selling twenty million, but I wish they'd seen you when we booed you off the stage in Williamsbourg.”

The detonation continues: “Ah, girl, I see you walking around covered in pearls, thinking you're number one, you're so funny, because baby, you're not,” says Del Rey.

And in the end, it becomes very clear who the song was aimed at. Lana ends the song by asking if everyone was “gaga-crazy”. Drooling!
