Welcome Instagram users via Android phones

Instagram on Nokia

I found this prank by Apple-maniacs against the launch of the Android cell phone version of Instagram very funny, to say the least. Some people took it very seriously, some thought they had the right to ban Android users, and others were offended by the jokes. I think the more people the better, I'm not an elitist, I'm a purple Apple-maniac, but I don't look down on devices from other brands nor do I think that anyone who uses them is inferior. But honestly I loved the jokes, there's a tumblr (http://androidnoinstagram.tumblr.com/) that plays as if they were the first photos of Android users on Instagram, full of people eating barbecue and bathing in a pool. It's really hilarious. There are also tweets from the fake @hebecamargo saying that she installed Instagram on the Olivetti typewriter. Yes, I thought it was really cool, the joke with the subject, did anyone take it seriously?

Now, Instagram is not a fad, I've been using it since 2010. I've used it more, I've used it less, I've gotten bored of it, I've spent a few days without using it, I've come back. Here are some tips to understand how it works:
– Instagram is not a Facebook album, it is not for posting your photos with your friends, or when you travel, take them in front of the Eiffel Tower. Of course, if Instagram is yours, you can publish whatever you want, but the foundation of the application is artistic photos, you can even have photos of yourself, but always try to use the coolest filters, and with an artistic touch, take a different angle. , street art, different architecture, unusual photos. Of course, the most narcissistic people fill Instagram with photos in different poses every day, but you will see that the most popular photos are the most exotic and strange photos. If you want to take a photo of yourself, why not Facebook?
– when you are traveling or passing through a new place you will be able to take many more photos, but of course new angles of the places you pass every day can also make excellent photos, graffiti or graffiti walls too. Old cars, plants! Now please save on the food photos.
– abuse the filters, test them one by one, you will see that there is always a filter that was made for your photo.
– a lot of people complain about the integration of Instagram into Facebook, just as they complained about the integration of Twitter there, they said that if they wanted to see tweets they would open Twitter and not Facebook. I already like integration, but in a careful way, not everything I post on Instagram I post on Facebook, I try to weigh the relevance, since Facebook is extremely shallow and Instagram is more artistic.
– on Instagram it's not like Twitter where you have to filter well who you're going to follow, you can follow a lot of people there, that's because photos are much quicker to see, and most people post a photo for two or three days. So if you follow 300 or 500 people, it won't be difficult to keep up. So even if you don't know the person, look at the photos and if you think they're cool, in that case just follow them.
– celebrities also rock Instagram, there's "galisteuoficial", "herchcovitch", "garneroalvaro", "andrealmada", "danilogentili", "bibete"(Ivete), "reginaduarte", "rosana"(hermann), "astridfontenelle ", "biagranja", "bobyang", "danielcarvalho", "facundoguerra", "hugogloss", "marcelomedici", "oscarfilho", "claudinhaleitte" and several others...
– don't unfollow me, I post very little when I'm not on vacation, but take a look there, it's "sergiodipietro".

Personally, I just hope that Instagram doesn't become a center for jokes or photo albums.

New competitors even emerged last year, one was Mobli, with investment from Leonardo di Caprio, but it doesn't seem to take off. Another cool thing about Instagram is that it's from a Brazilian, so that's another reason for us to use it.

Below is a photo that I took from the tumblr I mentioned above with one of the Instagram filters:
