According to the plaintiff's lawyer, Gustavo Bebianno Rocha, although Wyllys did not directly mention Bolsonaro's name, terms such as “myth” and the association of the PP political party (in which Bolsonaro was a member), make it clear that the PSOL parliamentarian was referring become a pre-candidate for the republic.

In the piece, which will be analyzed by Minister Celso de Mello, the lawyers also state that Jean Wyllys' statement was intended to hurt their client's “self-esteem”. The plaintiff also requests the removal of Wyllys' parliamentary immunity.
