New York is on fire. This Thursday, some city firefighters released photos of a charity calendar they prepared for next year.
The photo shoot was held in Times Square. The person chosen to be on the cover of the sheets was Chad Stertefeldt, 26 years old, a firefighter from Brooklyn.
"It's cool," he said. "It's honorable and it's a charitable action," she added. Part of the proceeds from the sale of the calendar will go to the Staten Island University Hospital Burn Center.
The project had previously been approved by the New York City Fire Department, but support was later withdrawn after an officer starred in a video for the website "Guys Gone Wild".
