Brazil wins 161 medals; check out the hottest athletes here

Athletes ran, threw, served, twirled, turned, kicked and even jumped with poles (!) and, after two weeks, the Pan American Games were over.

During this period in which Brazil served as host for the sporting event, nothing else was talked about — except for the tragic accident of TAM flight 3054. Pan was the most talked about topic of the moment.

In the overall picture, Brazil was second only to the United States (237), with a total of 161 medals, 54 of which were gold (in this regard, Cuba was ahead of the Canary Islands, with 59), 40 silver and 67 bronze.

So that you don't miss Pan so much, we decided to make a list of the ten most beautiful and hottest in the competition. Our athletes even received medals: gold, for the most beautiful; silver, for the average; and bronze for the beautiful ones but not so much.

Ah, we know that beauty criteria is a very subjective thing, but here, just like in sport, the important thing is to compete. You don't even need to take everything too seriously either. This article is just to fill our existential void, as the girls at 02Neurônio said in the newspaper Folha de. St. Paul today.
