Bryan Singer, director of X-Men, is accused of raping an underage boy

A new rape accusation against another powerful American director shakes the structures of Hollywood. According to the website TMZ, Bryan Singer, director of four films in the X-Men franchise, is being sued, accused of raping a 17-year-old in 2003. Singer denies the accusations. The case records reveal that the accuser says he attended a party on a yacht in Seattle in 2003, which the director was also at. Singer then offered to show him the vessel, when he locked himself in a room with the complainant. The man, whose identity was not revealed, says that Bryan forced him to perform oral on him and was then penetrated against his will. In the end, the filmmaker promised to help him do well in Hollywood in exchange for silence and even threatened him saying that he would hire people to ruin the young man's reputation if he told the story. In a statement to TMZ, a representative for the filmmaker states that Bryan “vehemently” denies the accusations and that “he will fight the process until the end”. Bryan also remembers that the young man's lawyer is Michel Egan, who previously defended another man who also accused the director of rape, but withdrew the action and was subsequently arrested for fraud.
