Daryll Rowe, a 27-year-old British hairdresser, was sentenced to life in prison for intentionally infecting young men he met through dating apps with the HIV virus. According to the newspaper “The Independent”, the court found, in November last year, that the man managed to infect five men and tried to infect five others. On Wednesday (18/04), when he attended the reading of the sentence, Rowe did not show any emotion. Neither before the court, nor before nine of his 10 victims, who were present. Rowe was sentenced at Brighton Crown Court to life in prison and will have to serve at least 12 years before being eligible for parole.
