Hairdresser is tortured and murdered because criminal has “aversion to homosexuals”

The Police arrested three men accused of murdering hairdresser Heberson Júnior Cavalcante de Almeida, aged 23, for having an “aversion to homosexuals”. The crime took place in Dourados, MS, on August 13th, but the suspects were only arrested this week. According to information released by the General Investigations Service (SIG), of the Civil Police, one of the prisoners, the oldest of them, aged 30, confessed that he stabbed Heberson “because he has an aversion to homosexuals”. According to delegate Rodolfo Daltro, in addition to killing the hairdresser, the criminals also took the victim's belongings, such as the car. According to information from authorities, Heberson was found dead abandoned in a construction site on August 13th. Three days earlier, on the 10th, he was allegedly captured by one of the bandits, aged 23, when he was leaving a convenience store where he had gone to buy soda. The hairdresser was held captive while another thief took his car to Capitán Bado, in Paraguay. After stealing the victim's vehicle, one of the criminals attacked him to death with a knife. When asked why he didn't like LGBT people, the accused stated that he once had a disagreement with a cellmate who was gay, after being imprisoned for nine years.
