Gay candidate launches campaign point in Arouche this Saturday

This Saturday, the candidate for councilor of São Paulo De Lucca (13000) will inaugurate his mobile campaign base in Arouche. Named 'De Lucca no Arouche', the stand will always be located from Thursday to Sunday somewhere in the region. For the opening, the stand will be located on Avenida Vieira de Carvalho, in front of number 43, from 19pm.

“The idea is that people who visit, live or work in the region have access to my proposals, and that we can always talk about ways to make São Paulo a more inclusive, fair and egalitarian city for everyone”, explains De Lucca.

Currently, De Lucca already has a daily stand located on Avenida Paulista, between Augusta and Frei Caneca streets. Arouche was chosen for the implementation of this second location because it is a meeting point for LGBT people from different parts of the city.

“People from different regions pass through there. This way we were able to dialogue with members of our LGBT community from different neighborhoods and spread our ideas to those who really matter: the people”, he added.

One of De Lucca's proposals for his term as São Paulo councilor is precisely the transformation of Arouche into an LGBT Neighborhood, implementing urbanization policies, public safety, human rights, encouraging entrepreneurship and creating a citizenship center there.
