Candidate Rafael Navarro, from the Federal District, wins Mister Popularity

The popular vote that chose Mister Popularidade, from the Mister Brasil Diversidade 2013 contest, ended at 17pm this Friday (11) and gave the title to the candidate from the Federal District, Rafael Navarro, aged 25.

With 21,3% of the votes, Rafael won – in addition to the banner and the approval of internet users – the right to be among the five finalists. The final takes place on Friday night, at 21pm, at Blue Space.

In an interview with THE CAPE, the manager says he campaigned and asked friends and acquaintances to give their vote. "A lot of people voted and a lot of people are rooting for me. To give you an idea, more than 300 people added me on Facebook and I paid attention to almost all of them," he says.

The competitor says that he was anxious because, during the first three days of voting, he was in first place, but on the afternoon of Thursday, 10th, Sidnei Costa, Mister Diversidade Minas Gerais, turned around. "Today, all my friends sent a message and informed me of the differences. I'm very happy to have won the vote."

However, despite being in the grand final, Rafael admits that he is not 100% calm. The reason? The challenge of going through the questions and answers of the final. "It makes me nervous, because I don't know what the jury is going to ask, but I'm going to stay focused", declares Mister Popularidade, who thanks his friends for the title and the successful vote.
