Florianópolis has once and for all conquered the position of one of the most popular gay destinations during Carnival and competes with Rio for the season's point title.
In 2012 it will be no different. The boys from Santa Catarina, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul go in force. The São Paulo people then generally descend to the island. It's as if a large part of São Paulo's gay scene moved there.
This Carnival, the heat is concentrated between The Week, the E.Joy label and Concorde. The Week hosts 5 parties with international DJs and promises special productions for each night.
E.Joy joins Rogério Figueiredo's White Party and throws a party on Sunday, lasting 12 hours. Among the attractions, DJs Aron, from Israel, and Hector Fonseca, from the United States. Promise!
The Concorde club, a very traditional Floripa club, opens from Saturday to Tuesday and features Argentine DJs in its line-up. On the Thursday after Carnival (23/02), Conca still performs its famous Burial of Bones.
During the day, the masses gather at Praia Mole, in front of Bar do Deca. It is there that people show their faces and display their bodies. This is also where the dating site's afternoon takes place. Available.com, on Tuesday (21), ending the festivities.
The cruising area is on the nearby Mole beach, Galhetas, and on the classic trails behind Bar do Deca. A few venture into the jet-setter universe of Jurerê Internacional, with its popular beach clubs, beautiful people, fine house and lots of close-up.

INSANE AFTER
The after will take place every Carnival morning, from Saturday to Tuesday. It is 500 meters from The Week, at Praia Mole, for those who want to stay on the track. Insano invades the Parador da Lagoa, which has panoramic views of Lagoa da Conceição, breakfast, outdoor area with swimming pool, decks and warehouse with access to the Lagoa. The hours will be from 7 am to noon. Vans left the door of The Week to the location. National and international DJs are promised and will be confirmed soon.

CAUGHT!
A good cruising spot in Floripa is the Hunter club. The space has all the necessary structure to pump up your pleasure: glory holes, maze, movie rooms, dark rooms and sex shop. During Carnival, Hunter prepares its Carnival Corujão for the 6th consecutive year. The sex club will operate during special hours from 15pm until 5am, from Friday (17th) to Tuesday (21st). On Sunday (19th) the 10th Underwear Festival will take place starting at 23pm. The maximum permitted attire is underwear or swim trunks. Rock!
