O Court of Justice of Alagoas (TJ/AL), through the Itinerant Justice project, carried out a same-sex collective marriage this Monday (7), at 16pm, in Maceió.
The wedding was conducted by the magistrate André Gêda, head of the 10th Civil Court of Arapiraca and coordinator of the Itinerant Justice project.
The project has already facilitated more than 3 thousand weddings in the State this year alone. Interested communities can request and schedule the presence of the Itinerant Justice to carry out collective marriages through associations, churches or public institutions.

According to the judge, same-sex marriages are very important for the spread of equality in society.
"We must preserve equality among all. Any human being has the right to form a family, regardless of their sexual orientation," he stated.
