Celebrities who rocked 2011; check out!

The gay scene in the celebrity world boomed in 2011. Many people came out of the closet, others spoke negatively about the class. Below you can remember the ruffles of the year.

Summer brought Luisa Marilac to the fore, who decided to do something different in her pool in Madrid. The transvestite caused waves with her fateful video and it became a huge hit on the internet and on TV. The brunette's speech even ended up being included in the script of the soap opera "Insensato Coração". Now, at the end of the year, she was hired by Skol to carry out several actions, including a viral video of the brand.

In terms of sub-celebrities, the year has already started well at BBB. If in 2010 we had the gays clearly separated from the colored ones, in 2011 we had two gays, a transsexual and a bisexual, who were there just to be there, just like any other member of the house, without distinction between groups. That way, except Ariadna, who left early, the others left because of their defects and dislikes that they created with the public and not because they were gay.

And there was also some good noise. Cristina Mortágua was arrested after attacking a police officer. Why is she at the police station? She hit her own son. The reason? He's gay! Well, it was drooling. Her son Alexandre is the result of the model's relationship with former player Edmundo. At the end of this whole ordeal, the one who came out on top was Alexandre, who did well in the media and launched himself as a fashion designer.

Cristina, very crazy, at the police station

Another one who was popular in 2011 was the model Lea T. The trans woman conquered her space in the fashion world in a meteoric career. The beginning was in 2010, in a campaign by the powerful Givenchy. But it was in 2011 that it exploded across the world. Here, she caused a stir at SPFW and Fashion Rio, with stellar top status. In Rio, she paraded for Blue Man, wearing just a bikini and leaving the entire audience in an uproar. In the publishing world it was no different either. She appeared on the cover of "Love" kissing Kate Moss, naked in French "Vogue" and to end the year with a flourish, It was on the cover of "Elle" Brazil, beautiful!

The fact is that androgyny is more fashionable than ever. Serbian model Andrej Pejic is another example of this.  The blonde was popular in campaigns and magazines. Sometimes posing as a woman, sometimes posing as a boy. But he looks much better as a woman. Here, she modeled for Aüslander at Fashion Rio, and also photographed alongside the model Zombie Boy, the one with tattoos, for the brand's campaign. At the end of the year, he was elected one of the men of 2011 by the North American gay magazine "Out".

Silvetty Montilla and Dimmy Kieer continued to gain space on TV. The two, alongside Amanda di Polly, won a spot on Eliana's program on SBT. In "As Fadinhas Safadinhas", the trio promoted transformations in the public. A careless man became handsome and a gay man trained to become drag. When the show debuted, the program reached peaks of 16 points, a record.

Jair Bolsonaro got tired of offending gays last year. But he doesn't deserve space here. What he deserves is the response that Marcelo Tas gave him on "CQC", after the deputy once again offended the class. Tas said live that has a lesbian daughter, Luiza, and is very proud of her. Need more?

Almost at the end of the year, actor and heartthrob Caio Castro made a disastrous statement. Caio said in an interview with "Quem" magazine that "It's better to have a reputation as a catcher than as a faggot." The phrase, of course, took off online. After the repercussions, Caio went public on his Twitter to apologize, saying "that he has many gay friends". Oh there! Worse was Aguinaldo Silva, openly gay and author of the soap opera in which Caio acts, who said that the actor was "absolutely right!".

Aguinaldo, in fact, caused a lot this year. If in the past he was a historic ally of gays, as he edited the pioneering "Lampião", now he gives opinions that cause a certain embarrassment. "The fact is that gays in Brazil have gone on a wave of please love us, we are poor things! This is detestable: be serious!" he posted on Twitter. He has also said that It is against the law that criminalizes homophobia. All right then!

American actor Zachary Quinto set an example of civility. He came out for a more than noble cause. The young man came out of the closet in October of that year, moved by the story of gay teenager Jamey Rodemeyer, who committed suicide because he couldn't handle the bullying he suffered. The actor considered that the fact that he came out, as a public figure, could contribute more effectively to combating prejudice and provide support to young gays who feel helpless.

Zachary Quinto: besides being cute, he’s also brave!

Marco Nanini doesn't need to say anything. He is one of the greatest actors in Brazil. Still, in an interview with "Bravo" magazine, he spoke calmly about his sexuality. "Sometimes they paint boyfriends," he said. The news had terrible repercussions. He wisely said that he never left the closet, because he had never been inside it. It's true!

Certainly, in 2012, the buzz will continue to be very strong and you can see everything here on The Cape!
