Center for Combating Homophobia buys drag and trans fights against Facebook

Those who have drag queens added to Facebook noticed that many of them started using male names or became fan pages. In turn, many transvestites and transsexual women, like the actress NanyPeople, said "goodbye" to the network.

+ Campaign makes LGBT people die to warn about homophobic crimes

The reason is that Facebook wants these people to use their registered name (which appears on their ID), with the justification of avoiding fakes and bullying. The problem is that he disrespects the group's social and artistic name.

A few weeks after the controversy, the Center to Combat Homophobia will forward complaints about drag queens and trans people to the Public Prosecutor's Office. The person responsible for the complaint was the DJ and activist André Pomba, which featured the collaboration of the drag queen Dindry Buck.

"My expectations are the best possible, as the action will be forwarded to the Public Prosecutor's Office. The CCH took the lead and created a specific form for the complaint", says Dindry, who currently signs with the name Albert Roggenbuck on the network.

Dindry only regretted that, despite all the outrage online, much fuss and the call for action, only she, Sissi Girl e Andy D'Luck actually joined the campaign. "Unfortunately, drag queens' engagement was practically zero. When it comes to fighting for rights, it's complicated. It must be the culture of our country."

Facebook will be notified and action is being taken to court.
