Tea and debate discuss adoption and gay rights in Rio de Janeiro

The Tea with Adoption and Rights event takes place in Rio de Janeiro this Wednesday (22). The proposal is to basically discuss the topics of adoption of children by gays and the rights of the LGBT community. The event is organized by the Contemporary Christian Church.

The speakers who will discuss the topics are Silvana do Monte Moreira – lawyer, coordinator of the Ana Gonzaga Adoption Support Group, and member of the OAB/RJ Human Rights Commission and the Sexual Diversity Group -, Ana Lúcia Simões – judicial psychologist of the 1st Regional Court for Children, Youth and the Elderly -, and Sérgio Camargo – member of the OAB/RJ Rights Commission and the Sexual Diversity Group.

"The Contemporary Christian Church, in addition to providing the inclusion of faith, knows that it is also its responsibility to promote means to create a more just and equal society for all", say the event organizers.
