Chay Suede endorses chorus and protests against Jair Bolsonaro: “Incompetent”

Actor Chay Suede used his social media profile to join the “Ele Não” campaign against PSL presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro, and adopted a critical tone towards the former Rio deputy.

When explaining his opinion contrary to Bolsonaro, the celebrity listed five reasons that led him to make such a decision and stated that, in his opinion, the candidate is “incompetent” to take on the position he seeks.

“Well, 'Not Him' because his book was written by a torturer and he didn't have the shame to admit it during a hearing on national television. Which, in my opinion, is very serious and reveals the violent character of a man that I don't want to be the president of my country”, began the artist.

“'He No' because it relativizes slavery and treats meritocracy as a possibility in a country as unequal as ours. 'He doesn't' because he doesn't talk about income redistribution, despite the fact that we live in such an unfair country. 'He No' because he makes a gun sign with his hand in a violent country like ours. I don't think that's what we need. Not him, not him ever,” he concluded.
