Chloe Moretz will play a teenager who undergoes “GAY CURE” in new film

Chloe Moretz signed to star in the drama The Miseducation of Cameron Post, based on the 2012 best-seller about a young girl who is sent to a "gay cure" by his homophobic aunt.

In the book, young Cameron develops a relationship with her best friend from school, who also happens to be the prom queen. After her parents die in a terrible accident, Cameron moves in with her aunt, who sends her to a camp that promises “cure” homosexuality.
 
Sasha Lane, revealed by American Honey, is in the cast, as are John Gallagher Jr (The Newsroom) and Jennifer Ehle (The King's Speech). Desiree Akhavan (Appropriate Behavior) directs and writes the film.
 
There is still no set premiere date.
